Important: As of 25 March 2020, 0000 hrs onwards, a nation wide lockdown has been implemented for 21 days. This lockdown is not applicable to essential services, as stated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), Government of India. (See Order by National Disaster Management Authority and Guidelines as listed in the Annexure of MoHA Order No 40-3/2020-D Dated 24.03.2020).

Having said that, this page contains information about various groups of people and organisations who are offering voluntary or paid services to help the city to get through the current times. But note that many of these phone numbers are engaged and switched-off time to time, due to heavy demand.

Project Mumbai’s Free Counselling Session

Project Mumbai launches a “Free Counsellors on Call Facility” for people of Mumbai by connecting you to a team of around 50 trained counsellors, from 8 am to 8 pm across multiple languages including Marathi, Hindi, English, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi and Kannada.

Project Mumbai Initiative: Grocery or Medicine Delivery for Quarantined People (by BMC) and Senior Citizens living alone.

If you are a citizen who has been asked to undergo quarantine by BMC (stamp on hand) OR you are senior citizens living alone, you can contact +919653330712 [for Groceries] and +91-9992999929 [for Medicines] for getting these delivered on your doorstep.

Physician Volunteers for Telephonic Guidance on Covid-19.

They are a voluntary group of Mumbai doctors available for telephonic guidance with respect to COVID-19. Note that they will be guiding you and NOT treating you over the phone. Preferred mode of communication is WhatsApp. Each set of doctors are only to be contacted on the specified timings. So please follow the timings strictly.
